Business Profile

Saga Impex General Trading LLC is a limited liability inland company registered in Dubai since 2013. The new management took over the company in 2017. Saga Impex Ltd originally started in Singapore during 2007 and shifted its base to Dubai for ease of operation. Promoters of Saga Impex Ltd is in this trade for last 25 Years.

Commodity & Processed Food division are the major verticals of Saga Impex Trading. We deal with Import and export of commodities since 2007. Our Commodity division started working with purchase of Raw Cashew Nuts from West, East African countries and Indonesia and processed Cashew Kernels from India in the beginning and expanded our portfolio on purchase of in-shell and processed Almonds from California. We extended our operations in purchase of Sesame seed, Shea Nut and Soya from West African countries, Cloves, Yellow Gram, Pigeon Peas and Chick Peas from Tanzania, Beetle Nuts and Green Monk Beans from Indonesia and Rice - Broken & Whole Grain from India and Vietnam. Our supply chain network spread across West and East Africa, India, Indonesia, Vietnam, Europe and USA.

The growth of supplies for HORECA - Hotels, Restaurants and Catering was rapid in the year 2018. We deployed a dedicated team to survey the requirements. We could sense the opportunity and started with supply of ready to prepare products for HORECA. We deal with French Fries from Belgium, Desiccated Coconut from India, Indonesia and Vietnam, Cashew - Wholes and Broken from India, Africa and Vietnam.

Health Care division - Medical Consumable and Medical Devices - The change brought in by Pandemic has been rapid. Several Organizations incorporated this event as an opportunity in their business mission. PPE as a category of business has attracted highest number of new entrants. PPE products are experiencing the highest growth in demand and consumption globally. We started deals with the requirement among our existing clients and it has grown heavily in the recent past.

We have been dealing with Medical consumables and surgical equipments from the beginning of 2020. We are sourcing from the leading suppliers and facilitating our sale to Middle east and Africa. By March 2020 we expanded our supply chain to Europe and US as well.

Our Industrial and Ship Supply Division started in 2018. We are collaborating world’s best companies dealing with Consumables, Spares, Devices, Safety Kits and Equipments necessary for Ship channel and for Industrial requirements to facilitate the needs of clients across Globe. Saga is one among the supplier of Ground water pipe and accessories for UAE government’s department concerned.

Packaging Division - As we understood the shortage in packaging materials is challenge for us in West and East Africa while procuring the commodities, we started our own packaging division to facilitate our purchases. Even though this division was initially started to cater the in-house needs, due to constant request from our clients we expanded the scope of supplying packing material to other companies as well. We deal basically on Gunny / Jute bags, Craft paper rolls used for dressing containers and the dry silica bags used in containers for moisture control.

Logistic Division was operational from 2015 onward in Dubai under the name and style Great Marine Logistics (GML). We have offices in Middle East, Far East, Europe and US. We have tie ups with all major shipping lines across the globe.

Trade Facilitation Platform

  • Saga works as a Trade facilitation platform for those Sellers and Buyers who is in dare need to company to handle their operations in the international market.
  • Our Service department helps the suppliers to sell their goods once procured to various buyers spread across the globe.
  • If a particular buyer is in need of a specific commodity or equipment, We use our sources to procure it for them.
